How time flies!

It's the time of year for everyone to start getting reflective. I am very curious to how I will look at 2006 a few years down the line! Obviously a year full of big changes, but I think it's too early to know what it all means.

Any how, I am not going to get sappy and profound, I am going to tell you about what's going on in my life!

I met Michael Knight! He is my favorite, and in fact overall favorite, in Project Runway's Season 3, and he's such a sweet man! He has a good head on his shoulder and I am going to put this photo up again next month too! Michael Knight + Shani
photo credits to Melissa, thanks so much!

I said, it's great to be a Florida Gator!

The Gators will be taking on the unbeaten Ohio State Buckeyes in the Fiesta Bowl early next year. There will be a party, and I already know where it's going to be (and, no, it's not at my house). It's great to see the Gators doing so well. In the meantime, my Bucs are having their worst season since my sophomore year of high school! It's very painful to watch my boys just not play well.

In somewhat related news, I have added a few more people to the "cool peeps in Atlanta" category, including an awesome chica named DJ, who I just instantly clicked with. Having cool peeps around... never a bad thing.

I spent Thanksgiving weekend on the ranch. One morning, I walk outside and I meet a dark spotted kitten for the first time. I play with it for a bit and then start to walk around. Kitty follows. I look for eggs. Kitty follows. I do a lap of the fruit trees, kitty follows. Sister appears. I say, Hey, what's this kitten's name? Sivan responds, Oh, that's Shadow. He's a boy. Shani giggles and says, What an appropriate name!

In addition to Shadow, there is also another kitten, Smores, who is a girl. AND... My mother had recently bought a bunch of chicks at a livestock auction, and they are the cutest things you've ever seen! Three can fit into one hand. It was good fun watching the two species interact for the first time.
