Can't complain!
Things have been settling down from the chaos of the whole moving/new city/new job/know nobody/etc. I have the semblance of a social life. In reality, I have been so busy lately that I've barely noticed the time fly by.
My sister is now 21, number 3. Check out the photos!
After a weekend in Tampa, it was a weekend working, and then off to Chicago. It's my first Fourth of July as a US Citizen. Very cool! Got to spend the holiday w/ Renee and Keith and the Chicago crew, along with a cameo from the ATL - Fabian. Millenium Park = very cool.
World Cup Tournament has ended. It's kind of sad, I really enjoy watching those games. Italy is the World Champion. The only goal scored against Buffon, aside from a PK, was an own goal in the game against the US. That was also the only game they did not win.
Thought I would share
Goiya Shiraz/Pinotage. I saw it on sale one day at Publix and bought a bottle. Then I went back and bought four bottles, and then I went back for a case. If it were not on sale, it would have cost $8, and this has got to be the best cheap wine I have ever discovered! It's South African, great bargain. Also available: Cab Sav, Shiraz, Chard & Chard/Sav Blanc. No reviews on the others
Another recent shani-wine-trend: Chilean Carmenere. They're wonderful, take my word for it. Bottles start around $9 retail, so it's not a huge splurge unless you like Boones, in which case save your money because you won't like something this quality.
Love to all of you!
