Biography
Shani is currently living in Atlanta, GA. She works as a User Interface Developer for delta.com. Her first major project is an upgrade to the SkyMiles Program: implementing a third Award Tier level. This involves not only a makeover of the current experience, especially the double calendar, it also brings in new functionality and extending site-wide initiatives for CSS, Javascript, style and legibility. The work is primarily with HTML, CSS, Object Oriented Javascript, JSP and XML.
Shani has also contributed to other projects while at Delta Air Lines, including GUI Rearchitecture of Seat Maps, Lost Baggage Claim Form, enhancing Delta language sites, and Go Green.
Prior to beginning this venture, Shani's most recent experience is developing user pages, market pages and admin features for AutoScoop.com. Her work controled session and state data all users. As a Web Designer and Developer, her repetoire also included microsites, a dynamic banner for affiliate sites, and other web tools, including Find Your Car, Email a Friend, and FAQ. She worked with Photoshop, Illustrator, XHTML, CSS, PHP, MySQL, jQuery, Javascript, AJAX, Subversion, and Eclipse.
For fun, Shani explores local restaurants, seeking yummy foods and fine wines. Her wine collection includes many eclectic bottles. She favors wines with complex flavor profiles and generally goes off the beaten path. Chilean Carmener, Nero D'Avola, Viognier, Marsanne? If the opportunity arises, join Shani for dinner at home. Her cooking will surprise you (in a good way) and her wine selection will bring a smile to your face.

On the weekends, you might find Shani at a sports bar... especially if one of her teams are playing: the Florida Gators, USF Bulls, Tampa Bay Bucs, or DC United.
Growing up outside of Tampa, FL, Shani is the eldest of six kids. She describes her school years simply: over-achiever. After graduating high school, the first thing Shani does is move... to Washington, DC to attend American University. She graduated with a BS in Multimedia Design and Development and a BA in Visual Media.
Shani's travels include: all over Israel, Prague, Czech Republic, Krakow, Poland, Amsterdam, Hoofddorp, and other parts of Holland, New York, Chicago, Milwaukee, Philadelphia, Annapolis, Orange + Ono Beaches at the Florida/Alabama border, San Francisco & Napa Valley, CA. Her favorite beach in Florida is Siesta Key, her favorite beach in Israel is Eilat, her favorite place in the world she knows is Park Timna.
